On July 23, 2018 a Satellite Symposium will be convened at the International AIDS Conference in Amsterdam showcasing regional efforts to reduce HIV-related stigma and discrimination in the healthcare setting.
The Symposium will feature speakers from Thailand's Ministry of Public Health, UNAIDS, the Viet Nam Administration for HIV/AIDS Control, global experts on stigma, and international NGOs who will discuss the implementation of stigma-reduction programming in the region, and its relevance to achievement of UNAIDS' fast-track targets in Southeast Asia and globally.
